ROLE PURPOSE
Our team has an exciting opportunity available for a Training Expert / Consultant (or similar) with a background and experience in developing and delivering 'train the trainer' programs (or similar) to join our team for 6 months on a specific purpose project. The ideal candidate should have a background and experience in delivering learning programs, curricula and materials across a variety of formats (i.e., print, online, and assessments) โ preferably within a large matrixed organization. Within a globally distributed sales and marketing team, they will be expected to collaborate with SMEs and Key Stakeholders on the project. Working with these groups, they will need to surface, analyze and implement learning needs, goals, objectives, outcomes, assessment criteria and methods. They will then need to leverage the results of any needs analysis exercises to design, coordinate and implement a 'train the trainer' program. The successful applicant will need to be knowledgeable and experienced in the application of in-room training, facilitation, coaching, and the application of learning models and processes (e.g., ADDIE, VARK, etc.). They will also need to recognize how and when to be pragmatic and flexible in the design and delivery of learning solutions in the context of large change initiatives or workforce transformation processes.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead and act as first point of contact for all project related Train-the-Trainer targets, objectives, tasks & activities.
- Support other project leadership roles in the wider management of resources; targets; objectives; & tasks.
- Coordinate with SMEs; key stakeholders; & wider team to surface business needs/problems; identify resulting learning needs; participantsโ profiles; & any evaluation/assessment methods/criteria for subsequent Train-the-Trainer solutions.
- Work with SMEs; Key Stakeholders; & wider team on coordinating Train-the-Trainer solution design/development/implementation/evaluation phases.
- Partner with Instructional Designers (IDs) & Multimedia Developers on end-to-end development of all training content/resources.
- Drive best practices & process improvements within project/wider organization.
- Ensure real/case studies are embedded into training resources/program.

- Ensure project Train-the-Trainer tasks/objectives are identified/stored/documented/coordinated/tracked effectively.
- Ensure design/deployment/implementation of Train-the-Trainer Solutions are timely/on scope agreed upon by leadership/SMEs/Key Stakeholders.
- Effectively manage multiple tasks/activities proactively.
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Manage feedback from key stakeholders at all levels effectively.
JOB DIMENSION
Complexity: Medium - Integrated review/alignment across at least 4 global projects managing programs with 2+ concurrent projects/multiple senior stakeholders.
Business Impact: Recognized as SME in service line identified - High impact as training comprehension is critical success factor mandatory in regulated environment affecting systems uptake by customers.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
4+ years Training Expert / Consultancy experience within similar type large matrixed organization or otherwise 6+ years Training Expert/Consultancy experience required. Proven remote/on-site working experience is crucial. Experienced at reviewing learning needs analysis implementing subsequent train-the-trainer solutions/methods assessment required. Thoroughly experienced leading design implementation of in-room training/support materials/resources required (e.g., workbooks). Experience designing/managing training assessments is essential.
