Role Overview
We are seeking a talented .Net developer with a backend/system technologies focus to join our software team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in modern .Net development practices, self-motivated, comfortable working in a small team and with previous experience developing software for creative industries. Candidates who can provide a link to a portfolio of previous work via Github (or any accessible platform) will be strongly considered.
Responsibilities
- Initially focus on a series of facilities in central London.
- Support automation and integration efforts across key sites.
- Contribute to broader industry-wide solutions as the platform evolves.
- Work on scalable distributed systems that enhance creative and operational workflows.
Employment Type
This role is initially a (full-time) independent contractor with the opportunity to convert to full-time. As a contractor this role is initially outside IR35.
Compensation
This job starts at £68,000 GBP/$85.000 USD.
Required Experience
- 7+ years experience in cross-platform C#/.Net software development.
- Primarily experienced in projects using DotNet 5 and above.
- ASP.NET Core
- PostgreSQL
- Deploying to Linux-based environments
- Integrating with identity frameworks

Useful Experience
- Previous experience working in roles related to creative application development or entertainment technology.
- Real-time graphics/audio or gaming experience.
- Cross-platform desktop or mobile application development in XAML-based environments (Avalonia/WPF/WinUI).
- Skills in lower-level languages - C/C++/Rust.
