We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer with circa 10 years of expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Juniper, Cisco, Zscaler, and SD-WAN technologies. This role requires a proactive professional with advanced knowledge of network architecture, troubleshooting, security, and cloud-based networking solutions. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of network systems while collaborating with global teams. ResponsibilitiesNetwork Design & Implementation:Design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and high-performance network infrastructures for enterprise environments.Develop detailed network architecture diagrams and ensure systems are designed for reliability and scalability.Deploy, configure, and manage SD-WAN solutions to enhance network performance and support hybrid work environments.Lead the implementation and integration of Juniper, Cisco, and Zscaler technologies to meet organizational needs.Network Operations & Troubleshooting:Monitor and analyze network performance to identify and resolve bottlenecks, latency issues, and failures.Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network issues, providing root cause analysis and long-term solutions.Maintain high availability and reliability of all network systems, including SD-WAN and cloud-based environments.Network Security & Compliance:Implement and manage robust security solutions, including firewalls and Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA)Perform regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability management to mitigate risks.Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations such as ISO standards and GDPR.SD-WAN Deployment & OptimizationLead the deployment and management of SD-WAN solutions to improve application performance and network efficiency.Configure SD-WAN policies for traffic prioritization, failover, and secure connectivity across multiple locations.Collaboration & CommunicationAct as a technical liaison between local and global teams, facilitating effective communication.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects, global initiatives, and incident resolution.Maintain comprehensive documentation of network designs, configurations, and operational procedures.Team Leadership & MentorshipGuide and mentor network engineers to develop their technical skills and knowledge.Participate in hiring and onboarding processes for new team members.Lead and contribute to team discussions and decision-making on network strategies.Project ManagementManage in planning, executing, and tracking IT projects from initiation through completion, including hardware/software upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and system implementations.Manage tasks among team members, ensuring timelines are met and deliverables are completed.Maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and project plans.Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders and management.Manage with resource planning and allocation for IT projects. Required Qualifications:10+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, including architecture design, deployment, and maintenance.Extensive experience with Juniper, Cisco, and Zscaler platforms.Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLAN, QoS).Proven expertise in SD-WAN solutions, including deployment, policy configuration, and optimization.Familiarity with network monitoring tools.Solid experience in network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.Knowledge of cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure) and integration with enterprise networks.Preferred Qualifications:Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent.Hands-on experience with Juniper SRX, Cisco ASA, Nexus, and Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA)Expertise in deploying and managing SD-WAN solutions from vendors like Cisco Viptela, Fortinet, or VMware.Experience in global IT environments or multinational organizations.Fluent in both Korean and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while contributing to the success of key IT initiatives.About CheilWelcome to Cheil UK.
