Role Title: OPS/MVS System Automation Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months
Role Description:
Responsibilities:
Administer and support the Mainframe System Automation OPS/MVS Broadcom product.
Deliver automation at the quality and pace warranted by the business.
Ensuring delivery to the customer while adhering to established global standards and best practice.
Actively participate in achieving organizational efficiency objectives and undertake analysis on day-to-day work to drive automation on deliveries thereby minimizing repetitive and standardized tasks/processes.
Work closely with the stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver solution as agreed.
Requirements:
Experience in the Mainframe System Automation area.
Work experience with OPS/MVS products.
Ability to code/script using OPS/REXX programming language.
Understanding of GDPS concept in production is preferred.
Experience of providing production support and troubleshooting for IBMz Mainframe systems.
Understanding of the incident, problem, Change change management processes.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written English skills.
