Description
Project Overview:
The project involves providing support to Risk and Change Management in relation to architecture changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake a technical review of incident handling, focusing on Major Incident Management, and identify ways to improve Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) metrics.
- Attend all technical bridge calls to gather insights and develop options, including root cause identification.
- Summarize recommendations based on implementing industry best practices.
- Conduct a thorough technical assessment of proposed IT changes to ensure they meet organizational standards.
- Identify any aspects that negatively impact existing systems. This includes evaluating the technical feasibility, potential risks, and overall impact on service delivery.
- Develop recommendations to reduce the number/impact of major incidents caused by high-risk changes.
- Develop comprehensive non-functional requirements policy for service management to ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability. This includes defining metrics for system availability, response times, and capacity planning.
