As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will be at the forefront of decision-making. Your insights and data-driven recommendations will directly impact our credit policies, strategies, and overall success.
Hybrid Work Arrangement:
Hybrid 2-3 days on site
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, maintain and enhance critical credit scorecards and decisioning performance across consumer and business journeys.
- Collaborate with other team leads to identify risks, improve processes, and optimise connections to our network.
- Engage with stakeholders across different business areas to align strategies and achieve company goals.
- Provide valuable feedback on propositions, projects, and services.
- Analyse data using Excel, SAS, Alteryx, and Python to identify trends and opportunities.
- Challenge existing credit policies and propose effective changes.
- Perform regular and ad-hoc tasks, delivering actionable insights to drive positive outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Experience managing and developing credit scorecards (Essential).
- Advanced Excel skills (Macros, Pivots, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting). VBA knowledge is beneficial.
- Recent experience analysing data using SAS/SQL or similar tools within the last 6 months
Mathematical or finance-related degree or proven experience at senior/lead analyst level
