Description
Contract Details:
- Location: London
- Rate: £450-£500 a day
- Duration: Initial 6 weeks, likely to extend
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel models to support pricing, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
- Analyse datasets to uncover trends and insights that inform ticketing and pricing strategies.
- Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from multiple sources.
- Implement intermediate Python scripts to automate data processes and enhance analytical capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Present findings in a clear and actionable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in Excel, including advanced modelling, pivot tables, and VBA (preferred).
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Intermediate Python skills, particularly for data analysis and automation (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib).
- Experience in ticketing or pricing analytics within a relevant industry (e.g., events, travel, retail or hospitality).
- Ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Exposure to machine learning techniques and predictive modelling.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and optimization methodologies.
Additional Information:
