Reports to:
Account Director or Business Director

Position Objectives:
- Maintain excellent client relationships across a portfolio of accounts
- Deliver sound, substantiated media plans in response to client briefs
- Ensure efficient and accurate campaign delivery
- Promote and sell in other AKA services
- Manage client billings and drive profitability
- Maintain relationships with media owners
- Contribute to new business pitches

Deliverables:

Maintain excellent client relationships across a portfolio of accounts:
- Manage the relationship with clients, organise and manage regular meetings and promote positive communication between client and agency.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of each client's proposition, business goals and challenges, their competitors, the environment in which they operate and their audiences.
- Deliver outstanding client service by anticipating, recognising and meeting client needs and provide the best value for money in terms of cost/advice.

Deliver sound, substantiated media plans in response to client briefs:
- Understand fully the most effective and latest routes to market across current UK media channels, particularly in digital media, and keep clients up to date on the latest options.
- Ensure media campaigns are objectives-driven, planned using industry tools, previous campaign data and audience insights.

Ensure efficient and accurate campaign delivery:
- Lead with the wider AKA team to ensure correct delivery of campaigns; directing the MIT Account Executive on your accounts where relevant.
- Own the media schedule; ensuring it is accurate at all times and shared with clients as necessary.
- Ensure clients are aware of booking deadlines; obtain confirmation to book or release proposed activity according to those deadlines.
- Execute/manage media bookings according to AKA media booking protocols.
- Facilitate timely supply of artwork/proofs between client/media owner/AKA Biddable team as necessary.
- Make sure that AKA teams reporting is regular, clear/correct; delivered on time.
- Brief/manage artwork creation/delivery via AKA Creative Services if required.
- Manage tagging processes ensuring all campaigns are correctly tracked; ensure reports/dashboards etc are correctly set up before campaigns start.

Promote And Sell In Other AKA Services:
- Make sure clients are aware of range of AKA services beyond just media planning/buying.
- Promote our other teams such as Creative Services/Audiences & Insights in order to win more business from existing clients.

Manage Client Billings And Drive Profitability:
- Bill clients weekly; ensure financial forecasts are kept up-to-date.

Maintain Relationships With Media Owners:
- Develop/maintain excellent working relationships with media reps across all channels.
- Understand key media owners propositions/audiences they can reach.
- Negotiate best value/rates across campaigns.

Contribute To New Business Pitches:
- Devise/media plans/rationale for new business pitches; attend meetings with prospective new clients as required.

Other Duties As Assigned:
AKA is a fluid/rapidly changing organisation. This position profile reflects general nature/level of work assigned but does not restrict management's right/reassign duties/responsibilities at any time based on business needs if work is similar/related/logical assignment for position.

Notice Period:
The notice period for this role is 2 months.

Person Spec:
Have a minimum of 2 years agency experience working within an integrated media agency or at least 2 years experience client side working as a Marketing Manager.
Demonstrated passion/knowledge for UK media market with great working knowledge/contact within industry.
An interest in arts/culture/heritage/live entertainment.
Experience planning/buying/delivering/reporting on integrated cross-media campaigns.
Proven ability managing multiple-client relationships leading several campaigns simultaneously.
This role would suit someone confident/service orientated/articulate/persuasive negotiator/original/insightful/proactive/organised enthusiastic ideas driven approach/computer literate proficient Microsoft Office suite including Word Excel PowerPoint
