PM Group requires project engineering support on a Pharmaceutical site in Northumberland.

Responsibilities:
- Working as part of the project management team.
- Developing scopes of works and engineering solutions based on client requirements.
- Working with the project team to deliver the project documentation and drawings.
- Managing and leading members of the client engineering team.
- Working alongside existing client engineers, managers, and directors.
- Managing the procurement of new equipment. Creating tender documentation, working through the tender process, engaging potential suppliers/contractors and providing in-depth tender analysis on bid returns.
- Leading the project team through all stages of the projects from design to construction and handover.
- Acting as a client representative in meetings and discussions with third party vendors.
- Presenting business cases, seeking board approval, securing funding
- Managing risk and change, securing additional budget as required.
- Ensuring that the projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Managing third party contractors and offering input into process design and installation.
- Developing equipment services design and installation scopes of work.
- Collaborating with other client departments and offering technical support as required.
- Ensuring the delivery of projects in a way that is compliant with EU and UK health and safety regulations, as well as client procedures and protocols.
- General process improvement, quality design, and risk management.
- Developing engineering standards that support project delivery.
- Working with the project engineering team to ensure the maintainability of installations.
- Controlling the mitigation of repetitive failures. Monitoring success of reliability improvements.
- Improving equipment reliability on site.
- Working with the engineering lead to champion a maintenance reliability strategy across whole site advising implementing best practices.
- Developing new maintenance reliability procedures to ensure current equipmentโ€™s working lifespan is increased Improvements efficiency will also be required.
- Leading existing reliability maintenance teams through newly developed procedures.
- Carrying out routine maintenance existing equipment.
- Other responsibilities in keeping with project engineering role.

Qualifications:
-Candidates must have proven experience working multiple maintenance projects process manufacturing facility one more following industries: fine chemicals petrochemicals API pharmaceutical manufacturing
-Knowledge standard industry practices procedures safety measures essential
-Candidates must be excellent communicators able lead focus multi-disciplined engineering team
-The successful candidate will have strong leadership communication skills including ability challenge work other technical engineers stakeholders
