About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major Earthworks project in Suffolk. This is a 12-month contract working on a large-scale civil engineering scheme, involving cut & fill operations, groundworks, and infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out for earthworks, drainage, and infrastructure elements
- Ensuring quality control and compliance with project specifications
- Carrying out surveys and site measurements using GPS and total stations
- Managing subcontractors and liaising with the site management team
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with health & safety regulations
- Producing as-built drawings and supporting project documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in civil engineering / earthworks
- Degree / HNC in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Proficient with GPS, Total Stations, and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of earthworks, cut & fill operations, and drainage
- Valid CSCS Card and UK Driving License
