Overview:
Our client is seeking a Principal Building Surveyor to join their Land and Property Services team. The successful candidate will assist the Director with co-ordinating and managing the work of the Property Team in connection with the properties owned or administered by the Board of Finance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the workload of the Property Team which comprises the Senior Surveyor, Buildings Officer, Apprentice Building Surveyor, and Property Support Administrator.
- Undertake property surveys.
- Communicate effectively with a diverse community of clergy, lay members, and public organisations.
- Manage a property portfolio with an understanding of legal frameworks including Health & Safety and statutory regulations.
Qualifications:
- RICS chartered status is required.
- Willingness to learn various laws related to property management.
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Additional Information:
Although experience within their organisation is not required, candidates should be sympathetic to its aims and values. The role is based at Bury.
