Digital Skills is excited to partner with a leading global travel agency in their search for an outstanding Full Stack Engineer. This role is perfect for someone with a proven track record of developing high-traffic or eCommerce websites.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Java specialist with strong Front End development skills in JavaScript (VueJS) and experience working with modern tech stacks. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of scalable, high-performance applications and experience handling large volumes of traffic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop next-generation, highly scalable applications in a cloud-based environment.
- Build user-friendly, dynamic Front End applications with VueJS, ensuring seamless integration with Back End services.
- Optimize site performance, reliability, and scalability to handle large volumes of traffic.
- Implement system health monitoring tools and create new health indicators to enhance system stability.
- Work autonomously, take ownership of key projects, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions for a global travel platform.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on Java.
- Proven expertise in VueJS, with experience building complex and dynamic Front End applications.
- Extensive experience in developing eCommerce or high-traffic websites-a must-have for this role.
- Hands-on experience with GraphQL (ability to design efficient, flexible schemas is a plus).
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and service-oriented architecture.
- Familiarity with Kafka, AWS, Generative AI (GenAI), and Perl is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with non-technical stakeholders.
