Location:
UK (remote), with ability to visit client offices in Manchester or Slough, UK
Contract Type:
Initial 1-year contract with possible extension or internalization

Global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors.
Role Overview:
The Solutions Architect SecDevOps (Kubernetes/Atlassian) will architect and implement sustainable hybrid cloud and Onprem architectures, ensuring lean, automated, and secure maintenance. The role involves collaboration across senior stakeholders in Digital, OT, Enterprise Architecture, Quality Assurance, and IT Security. The architect will introduce containerization concepts like orchestration, central automation, infrastructure as code, and drive the DevOps culture within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain containerized solutions.
- Implement cloud or on-premises infrastructure for IT and OT meeting GxP requirements.
- Define cloud standards using DevOps techniques like Infrastructure as Code.
- Lead OpenShift/SecDevOps Operation team as ScrumMaster.
- Ensure proper design according to IT Security/QA standards.
- Drive forward-looking architectures towards cloud-native setups.
Technical Skills Required:
Deep expertise in Kubernetes/OpenShift at an Architect level; CI/CD Pipeline implementation; Security Tools; Linux implementation; Testing automation frameworks etc.
Leadership & Management Duties :
Ensure team skill adequacy through training programs ; Sprint management ; Review designs against architectural standards ; Implement new working methodologies using agile approaches .
Qualifications :
Relevant work/residency permit or Swiss/EU citizenship required .
Background in IT , Computer Sciences related field .
5 -10 years experience as Solution / Enterprise Architect .
