Global Payroll Project Manager
Our Global Life Sciences are looking for a Payroll Project Manager to join them on a contract basis. The Global Payroll Project Manager will lead and oversee the end-to-end process of selecting and implementing a new global payroll solution across 90 countries and 4 regions. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage a complex, multi-stakeholder project with significant business impact. The project manager will be responsible for integrating new functionalities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating user training and support.
HR workstream - SAPS/4HANA Upgrade
This project focuses on the implementation of SAPS/4HANA to modernize the company's Finance infrastructure. The project manager will ensure seamless integration with existing applications. This role requires close collaboration with Finance, IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to achieve the desired outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of both projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including senior management, team members, HR, IT finance ,and external vendors to ensure project alignment with organisational objectives.
- Communicate project progress ,risks ,and issues effectively.
- Develop and manage project plans ,including defining project scope ,goals ,deliverables ,and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and performance ,identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.
- Facilitate effective communication amongproject team members to ensure successfulproject outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensiveproject documentationand reports for stakeholdersand management review.
- Developand implementa change management strategyto address the impacts ofthe projects.Ensure smooth transitionand adoptionofnew processes .
- Oversee the integrationofSAPS/4HANAwith existingHR systemsandmanage data migrationactivities.Ensure data consistencyandintegrity .
- Coordinate trainingprogramsfor HR staffandother relevant employees .Provide ongoing supportduringandafthe transition .
- Ensure compliancewith regulatoryrequirementsmaintain accurate reportingthroughouttheproject .
- Identify potentialrisksdevelop mitigationplans.Monitoraddressissuesas theyarise .
Experience Capabilities,and Skills
Proven experience inproject managementpreferablyinHR payrollprojects.ExperiencewithSAPSAP S/4 HANA ishighlydesirable.ExperiencewithGlobalPayrollimplementationsis highlydesirable.Exceptional leadershipcommunication,andinterpersonal skills.Provenabilityto manage multiplestakeholderswork collaboratively.Strongproblem-solvinganalyticalskills.Excellentplanningorganizationalabilities.Cultural sensitivityabilitytoworkeffectivelyacrossdiverseregions.Adaptabilityresilienceinmanagingcomplexchangingenvironments.
Experience
Professional experience inprojectmanagement.Experiencemanaginglarge-scaleglobalIT HRtransformationprojects.ProvenexperienceinpayrollsystemsimplementationrelatedHRtechnologyprojects.Experienceworkinginmultinationalorganizationsacrossdiverse cultures.Knowledgeofagriculturalorrelatedindustriesisaplus.Demonstratedproficiencyinprojectmanagementmethodologies tools.StrongtechnicalunderstandingofSAPHRsystems.Excelentleadershipcommunicationstakeholdermanagementskills.Provenabilitytomanagecomplexlargebudgetprojects.Trackrecordofsuccessfulvendorselectionmanagement.Workinginmultinationalorganizationsacrossdiversecultures.
