Enterprise Architect
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for working with customers and senior stakeholders to define and agree roadmaps that align business capabilities with technology solutions.
- Responsible for ensuring that the technology strategy and the roadmaps support the customerβs business strategy.
- Act as a trusted advisor across our customers to drive technology-enabled change programmes.
- Responsible for documenting the Enterprise Architecture for our customers and client in Architecture tooling.
- Responsible for keeping Architecture Models up to date for both customer projects and for client.
- Work alongside the other disciplines in the Architecture Group to provide costed options to address challenges or capability gaps.
- Work alongside other teams internally to document Enterprise Architecture.
- Work alongside other teams internally to help shape the initiatives required to support the Leading Edge Strategy.
- Work alongside project teams working on customer initiatives to provide Enterprise Architecture support.
- Contribute to the definition of the IT Strategy and ensure it is aligned with specific business strategy areas, capabilities, and roadmaps.
- Work alongside PMO team to assist with forward capacity planning for initiatives based on early triage and indicative sizing of initiatives.
- Assist bid teams by providing the Enterprise Architecture models to support the bid process addressing customer requirements.
- Leading virtual, cross-functional teams in business-led initiatives.
- Responsible for ensuring strong business partnering with a strong customer focus.
What You'll Need To Succeed
Proven experience of leading data warehouse/SQL/Azure implementations and owning integration strategy through execution and delivery in established IT department.
Proven architectural design skills; ability to discuss merits/trade-offs of using any particular design approach/technology.
Design/implementation of SaaS solutions/system integrations (must have).
Create both High Level Design (HLD) & Low-Level Design (LLD) documents (must have).
Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (must have).
Experience implementing Databricks/Data Warehouse solutions (must have).
Expertise in integration architecture/design patterns: Protocols/formats SOA, Rest, JSON, XML, etc.
Identity & Access management; Cloud-to-cloud integration & Cloud-to-on-premise integration; Front-end/back-end integrations; network/infrastructure management (desirable).
Experience using EAM tool β LeaniX (desirable).
Proven architectural design skills; ability discussing merits/trade-offs using any particular design approach/technology.
With a background in software development having a minimum 3 years' experience in solution architecture or similar position/role or working within established architecture practice.
The solution architect will have developed an enterprise-level integration design delivered accordingly using suitable technologies while adopting appropriate standards/governance.
