Location: Predominantly remote; Onsite in Selby, Yorkshire when needed for workshops/meetings etc
Duration: 6 months+
Rate: £600 per day

In short:
Cyber PM required to join an energy company in the beginning phase of a cyber regulatory programme. NIS and/or CAF knowledge would be beneficial; as would energy, utilities, Operational Technology (OT).

Purpose:
Responsible for the delivery of complex projects to the agreed time, cost and ensuring standards and best practices are adhered to and that blockers are responded to robustly and quickly. Understands the NIS Regulatory Compliance roadmap and work with relevant business partners to prioritise and mobilise work in accordance with available capacity, ensuring demand view is kept up to date. Works with business sponsors and stakeholders to define how the projects will be delivered and methodology to be used. The role oversees all aspects of the project delivery through to handing over to business as usual, through the effective management of; assigned resources (both internal and external), approved suppliers, allocated budgets and financial approval process.

Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure all projects align to High Level EP plans and project reference numbers
- Ensure that all projects consider the appropriate scope and stakeholders
- Ensure realistic project plans are in place and maintained with risk based contingency planning
- Ensure that requirements consider Ofgem Guidance issued within Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) overlay associated with Contributing Outcome Indicators of Good Practice
- Ensure resources are committed; lead Matrix team meeting agreed timescales while assisting team in removing blockers
- Monitor costs, timescales, resourcing; notify Programme Manager on any deviation from agreed tolerances through close management of risks/issues
- Align requirements with business outcome working closely with stakeholders/analysts
- Follow stage gate process producing appropriate artefacts approved by relevant stakeholders
- Manage changes in project scope appropriately
- Update all projects OPS Boards for Portfolio KPI reporting
- Track project progress plans reporting RAID
- Manage stakeholder expectations on delivery without over committing
- Communicate/collaborate with business teams ensuring holistic approach considering multiple project deliveries minimizing disruption
- Use escalation channels timely removing blockers
- Plan/manage governance forums providing status updates highlighting issues obtaining decisions/direction.
- Conduct Business Readiness activity including impact assessments Go/No-Go deployment planning.
- Build/maintain strong professional relationships internally/external immediate team 3rd party suppliers.
- Work peers making best use available resources according priority need.
- Champion/adherence project governance processes/procedures identifying communicating improvements driving efficiency.
- Provide an in-depth knowledge of projects their scope current status risks delivery.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience required:
- Experience delivering projects within same or similar industry
- Demonstrable experience managing delivering challenging systems changes complex demanding environment maintaining structure clarity
- Demonstrable experience managing delivering challenging business change projects complex demanding environment maintaining structure clarity
- Extensive knowledge project management processes systems development methods organisational change management concepts business process improvement methods.
- Proactively manage changes in scope identify risks issues devise contingency plans.
- Ability identify resolve issues conflicts within teams.
- Ability plan schedule track timelines milestones deliverables using appropriate tools including MS Project for planning purposes.
Ability adhere Programme Governance reporting processes strong planning organisational leadership skills.

Qualification APM/PMI/Prince II

Beneficial Knowledge & Skills:
Knowledge Network Information Systems Regulations
Experience Energy generation sector
Experience implementing technical/business change within Operational Environment
