Description
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and maintenance of ABCIB's IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) system including requirement analysis, design, testing, deployment, maintenance and documentation
- Work closely with key stakeholders across the bank to understand business logic and proactively identify system enhancement opportunities
- Support from a systems perspective Finance's regular planning and reporting cycles
- Work collaboratively within the Financial Analytics team on wider transformation projects
- Make full use of TM1's capabilities to automate processes and Excel models
- Support Finance with complex ad-hoc system queries and regular report builds
- Support with defining requirements and testing of changes to upstream systems
- Monitor regular data loads, troubleshoot and fix issues
- Follow development best practices, relevant IT policies and controls
- Train TM1 user base by sharing relevant knowledge and providing documentation
- Support TM1 user access control via joiners, movers and leavers process
Requirements:
- TM1 Perspectives / Architect development skills – cubes, dimensions, advanced TI processes, rules, dynamic reporting (active forms), workflows
- Data modelling and warehousing principles
- Familiar with FP&A activities
- Advanced Excel including VBA
- Strong user interface and experience design principles
- Sufficient SQL to query source databases and build new ETLs and reports
- MDX for building dynamic subsets and views
- Development lifecycle, TM1 coding best practices and change management
- Experience with Cubewise tools such as Arc, Slice & TM1Py. IBM Planning Analytics for Excel (PAX) and Workspace (PAW)
- Power BI data modelling and dashboard development
- Financial and Regulatory Reporting principles within banking
- Qualified Accountant (preferable)
- 5+ years TM1 development experience, working on end-to-end projects ideally within small team within Financial Services
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve and automate processes
- Great customer service supporting end users
- Clear and concise communication to both technical and non-technical audiences
