Excellent opportunity opens for a Business Analyst/Project Manager to join an International Asset Manager's Delivery and Technical Transformation department in a crucial hybrid BA/PM role.

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of financial services (preferably Asset Management) environments, including Treasury, Fixed Income and Equities with a solid knowledge and understanding of key investment and banking products.

The Role:
As Business Analyst/Project Manager you will be comfortable in a multi-disciplined role and be able to play the role of business analyst, data analyst, project manager as required throughout the different stages of a project. Working in a small company, you will work on projects of varying sizes and will be comfortable with small-scale system implementations, changes to technical regulations around payments and financial reporting alongside large-scale implementations of data solutions and cloud platforms. Where appropriate, based on the scale of the project you will work independently or as part of a multi-skilled project team. You will be comfortable taking ownership of multiple projects across multiple disciplines and business lines at the same time while prioritising based on pre-defined criteria. You will work alongside the different business areas with an existing knowledge of asset management and treasury functions to review processes, identify challenges and help identify potential areas of change where there is a justifiable benefit to cost, efficiency or performance.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Business Analysis:
- Provide business analysis in relation to all existing and proposed business changes and translate to actionable technical specifications.
- Understand the technical impact of business changes and be able to accurately convey these and support technical teams to design, plan and implement.
- Understand the business priorities and dependencies on the various applications manage associated risks.
- Collaboration with IT Development teams both in London overseas deliver system workflow logic amendments.
- Work closely with business units gain full understanding needs translate them into effective projects.
- Liaise with business users regarding all issues enhancements giving feedback progress reports.

Project/Programme Management:
- Manage number concurrent projects from inception completion covering wide range functions requirements across business.
- Coordinate other Project Managers as part programme management role.
- Manage chair Project Working Group meetings.
- Prepare maintain all project logs documentation Bank's standards.
- Ensure all risks issues understood raised prioritised escalated (if appropriate) sufficient time enable resolution &/or independent decisions made.
- Ensure compliance all bank procedures provide relevant documentation Change Management Committee.
- Provide support guidance staff across undertaking Project Management roles PMO administration including preparation meeting documentation minute taking tracking actions.
- Liaison Head Office cross-functional projects initiatives.
- Management project budgets Vendor liaison system testing.

Required Experience:
A minimum 5 years' experience in Business Analyst role. At least one years' experience in Project Manager role. Experience taking full ownership accountability projects working independently assuming multiple roles throughout project life cycle. Good working knowledge financial services (preferably Asset Management) environment including Treasury Fixed Income Equities solid knowledge understanding key investment banking products Experience working with critical applications awareness priorities coordination meeting deadlines Experience programme management Experience leading concurrent projects simultaneously.
