Role Overview
To support us in delivering our vision and strategy we are looking for an inspiring leader to join the Customer Experience senior leadership team as our Director of Customer & Commercial Projects. This is a pivotal role in shaping our commercial strategies, driving revenue growth, and enhancing customer experience across our organisation, to keep us future ready and a leading figure in the sector.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading commercial strategy, customer insight, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Driving operating margin improvements and optimising business performance.
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and partners.
- Overseeing procurement, contract negotiations, and financial performance.
- Supporting strategic cost reviews and ensuring regulatory compliance.
What We’re Looking For
- Senior-level strategic experience in commercial or relationship management.
- Expertise in financial planning, business development, and commercial governance.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies that deliver measurable results in a regulated environment.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to lead large-scale change and embed new ways of working with a track record of leading teams.
What You’ll Need
- Education to degree level or equivalent ideally in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related field.
- A formal commercial or financial professional qualification or qualified by experience.
- Ideally have a professional housing or related qualification but willing to work towards attaining this with support.
Work Arrangement
This is a full time hybrid role giving you the opportunity to work flexibly from home as well as from our offices located at Lichfield, Wolverhampton,Tewkesbury ,and Chipping Sodbury; regular travel across the operational geography will be required.
Requirements
A full driving licence along with basic DBS with consumer check will be required.
