Key Responsibilities

- Develop and evaluate machine learning models using various ML frameworks and libraries.
- Implement ETL/ELT practices including profiling, cleansing, transforming, and developing data structures, schemas, and dictionaries.
- Collaborate on software architecture, data modeling, and software development best practices.
- Automate pipelines using AWS Platform Services such as S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, Step Function, ECS, and Docker.
- Integrate machine learning models into production systems using MLOps/DevOps and CI/CD practices (e.g., Shell Scripting, Jenkins, Code Build, Testing).
- Monitor and maintain deployed models to ensure reliable performance.
- Optionally, work on machine learning for NLP tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Experience with big data technologies and ETL tools.
- High proficiency in automating pipelines using AWS services.
- Proficiency in MLOps/DevOps and CI/CD practices.

Software Development
- Strong software development best practices, including coding, algorithms, data structures, debugging, and version control.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code.

Data Management
- Experience with data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Knowledge of data preprocessing, including cleaning, transforming, and preparing data for model training.

Cloud Services
- Proficiency in using AWS services such as S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, Step Function, ECS, and Docker.
- Experience with Sagemaker and other relevant AWS tools.

Additional Skills
- Nice to have exposure to machine learning for NLP.
- Familiarity with Terraform and Jenkins.
- Strong work ethic and delivery-focused mindset.

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.

Other Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience applying machine learning and data science to solve real-world problems.
- Comfortable working in a high-paced project environment.
