PSR are currently working with a Rail Contractor in Essex.
Position Overview:
Seeking a PTS Site Engineer with a good Rail/Civils background predominantly on station upgrades, bridges/structures, self-delivering projects and capable of running a team of Engineers.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Management: Overseeing the entire project life cycle, you will manage station builds, bridges/structures and self delivery.
2. Utilising your expertise in AutoCAD, you will contribute to meticulous planning and precise execution.
3. Technical Expertise: Applying your proficiency in AutoCAD and setting out to provide intricate technical guidance in track work, signalling, electrification, and civil engineering. You will be a key player in ensuring that engineering solutions are not only efficient but also align with industry standards.
4. Quality Control: Implementing stringent quality control measures through regular inspections, ensuring that all project aspects meet the high standards set by both industry regulations and client specifications.
5. Collaboration: Engaging in seamless collaboration with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and address any technical challenges that may arise during the project.
6. Health and Safety: Prioritizing and fostering a safety-first culture, ensuring strict compliance with health and safety regulations on-site. You will lead by example, ensuring that all team members prioritize safety in every aspect of their work.
7. Documentation: Rigorously maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation using AutoCAD, including precise drawings, comprehensive reports, and meticulous records.
Requirements:
1. PTS Certification: A valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification is mandatory.
2. Engineering Qualifications: Hold a degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
3. AutoCAD Proficiency: Demonstrable expertise in AutoCAD for precise project planning and execution.
4. Experience: Proven experience in rail construction projects, particularly in enhancements, refurbishments, bridges or stations.
5. Technical Skills: Proficient in relevant engineering software with an in-depth knowledge of rail industry standards and regulations.
6. Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills facilitating effective collaboration with internal teams clients,and subcontractors.
7 .Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving skills enabling quickand effective resolutionof challenges encountered duringprojectexecution .
8 .Leadership : Proven leadership capabilities motivating site teams to work collaborativelyandensuringa productiveandpositiveworkenvironment .
