Job Summary:
Security Solution Architect (London-Based)
City of London - £600 - £700 per day (outside IR35)
Opus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Security Solution Architect to play a key role in delivering strategic cybersecurity solutions within the governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) space. This London-based role involves working on vulnerability and compliance management, security governance, assurance, and risk management. Candidates with experience in Qualys, ServiceNow SecOps, cloud technologies, agile methodologies, and DevSecOps tools are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead security solution architectures, ensuring compliance with governance, standards, and design patterns while working closely with Enterprise Architects.
- Support architecture projects with detailed security input, focusing on secure solutions that deliver business value and usability.
- Create reusable solution patterns and documents, collaborating with business and technical teams to oversee the implementation.
- Develop and maintain roadmaps for security technologies and processes aligned with strategic goals.
- Assist in vendor selection to ensure value for money and alignment with business requirements.
- Contribute to research initiatives and understand the impacts of digital transformation by engaging with technology stakeholders.
- Expertise in AWS or Microsoft Azure.
Projects Include:
- Managing vulnerability issues with Spinnaker workflow.
- Replacing design assurance for the workplace.
- Integrating third-party risk management with Ariba/ServiceNow spoke.
- Integrating DevSecOps compliance tools.
- Supporting new initiatives through pre-project sizing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in solution architecture within large-scale, complex environments.
- Familiarity with EA frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Background in cybersecurity, preferably with operational or delivery focus.
- Experience in developing business cases and ensuring the delivery of business benefits.
- Expertise in a specific technology field is desirable.
