The particular project that this contract is working on is with the client in Argentina and so, there may be a requirement to work slightly adjusted hours to compensate for the timezones.As a Mobile Software Engineer, you will work within an agile team of software engineers, SDET/QA, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality mobile applications aligned with the product roadmap. Your primary focus will be on supporting the transition of the Lace Wallet to a mobile-first platform, ensuring a responsive and engaging user experience.You will contribute hands-on to the development process, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Architects, QA, and other team members to implement features, resolve technical challenges, and optimize mobile application performance. This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow your expertise in mobile development while contributing to a dynamic, innovative product.Develop and optimize the Lace Wallet for iOS and Android, ensuring performance, responsiveness, and a high-quality user experience.Contribute to maintaining and enhancing a unified codebase using React Native.Work alongside senior engineers to implement testing frameworks, assist with CI/CD pipeline configurations, and maintain code reliability.Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA Engineers, and Blockchain Developers to deliver mobile-specific features and integrations.Address and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and usability issues across mobile applications.Participate in design discussions and contribute to technical decision-making under the guidance of senior engineers and architects.Stay up to date with mobile development trends and apply relevant tools and technologies to enhance applications.Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and following established development best practices.Who you are:Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is desirable but not required if complemented by relevant experience.3+ years of experience in mobile application development with a portfolio of successfully delivered iOS and Android applications.Experience with Agile software development methods, including sprint planning and iterative development processes.Familiarity with mobile security best practices, such as secure API integration and data protection.Experience with performance optimization for mobile applications to ensure responsiveness and scalability.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment, contributing to team goals across time zones.Mobile application development: Contributes to the development, testing, and optimization of mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native .Collaboration and teamwork: Works effectively within agile, cross-functional teams, supporting open communication and shared problem-solving.Code quality and testing: Follows coding standards, implements testing best practices, and contributes to maintaining code reliability.Performance optimization: Identifies and addresses performance bottlenecks to ensure responsive and efficient applications.Problem-solving: Demonstrates the ability to analyze technical challenges, debug issues, and deliver practical solutions.Continuous learning: Stays current with mobile development trends and integrates new tools or technologies into workflows.User-centric approach: Builds features with an understanding of user needs, enhancing usability, engagement, and satisfaction.
