We have a wide Procurement team at United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals, comprising:
- Clinical Procurement Team & Clinical Procurement Specialist Team
- Non-Clinical Procurement Team
- Operational Procurement Team
- Capital, Estates & Facilities Procurement Team
- Supply Chain/Materials Management Team

Newly Created Inventory Management System Team
We have a newly created Inventory Management System Team which resides under the Deputy Head of Supply Chain and works alongside the Supply Chain Team. We are seeking to appoint the IMS Business Change Manager to work as part of this newly formed team and to assist the procurement vision to deliver a state of the art Inventory Management System.

Role Overview
The IMS Business Change Manager will play an active role in supporting the management and delivery of the new Inventory Management System (IMS) project in support of the Trust's business and service objectives.

Responsibilities
Support the IMS Project Manager (Deputy Head of Supply Chain) and Senior Business Change Manager in delivering:
- The procurement, development, and implementation of the IMS
- The negotiation of contracts and in certain instances, management of contract performance
- Ensuring that organisational change drives project requirements

Operational Requirements
This role will require operational working at all Trust sites. Earliest start date for this role is 1st April 2024.

Candidate Profile
We are searching for a hard-working individual who is looking for an exciting new challenge and wants to be part of the new Inventory Management System implementation at ULTH. You will support:
- The Deputy Head of Supply Chain
- The IMS Senior Business Change Manager

You will set strategies for deploying inventory management systems in various stock control areas, working closely with:
- Head of Supply Chain
- Materials Management Site Managers
- Fellow clinical, non-clinical, and operational procurement teams

Scope
The scope of operational work managed by this team is significant – encompassing full roll out and maintenance across ULTH. The department already maintains high standards across all areas from Theatres to A&E but aims to revolutionise current methodologies for better control over consumables entering/leaving hospitals.

Team Objectives
This newly created team will lead support for internal stakeholders by managing:
- The inventory system
- E-catalogue
- Enacting meaningful operational/strategic change through ideas generation for savings/service improvement while ensuring adherence to Trust values/standards.

Trust Background
United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status after demonstrating significant teaching commitment. It will now be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (ULTH).

Lincoln Hospital: A thriving university city with major specialties; offers 24-hour major accident/emergency service.

Pilgrim Hospital: Located in beautiful countryside serving South Lincolnshire communities; provides all major specialties with 24-hour emergency services.

Grantham District Hospital: Serves Grantham communities; provides ambulatory paediatric services along with accident/emergency services.

Group Arrangement
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together under a Group arrangement aimed at improving patient care across Lincolnshire without formal merger but operating under one Board/Executive Leadership while retaining separate statutory names/legal obligations. This Group is known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
