Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Project Director to spearhead the development and implementation of a project management function within the agency. Please note this is initially, a contract of 12 months. This role is critical to establishing robust workflows, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the successful delivery of campaigns and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, agency operations, and leadership, with the ability to drive organisational change and set new standards for excellence. They will champion creativity and operational efficiency, and ensure the seamless execution of a portfolio of projects managed by themselves and their reports. They will bring the energy and be a driving force within the team and a true partner to those they work with. While embedding PM into the business, this role will remain heavily involved in the hands-on management and delivery of projects.

- Work with key stakeholders to ensure that project approach and creative is protected in the delivery of the project including feasibility

Project Set Up & Planning
- Manage Kick Off sessions on their assigned projects/hubs
- Provide strategic direction for all project management activities, aligning with the agency’s vision and goals
- Work in partnership with dept heads on priority of projects and PM requirements
- Own the project approach, scoping and overall financial oversight alongside Client Services
- Set up projects for success involving appropriate skillsets at right times
- Responsible for approving complex multi-project estimates SOW

Project Delivery & Workflow
- Take responsibility for delivering larger complex innovative projects (on time within budget)
- Set standards effectively communicating both work process internally stakeholders clients
- Master forward planning anticipating problems adapting
- Manage project resources coordinate internal reviews
- Day-to-day escalation point for issues effectively resolving them
- Involvement in large agency pitches teaching PM’s best practices

Project Health
- Oversee portfolio ensuring quality efficiency adherence timelines budgets
- Manage resolve escalations related scope resource allocation client expectations
- Monitor performance metrics identifying trends risks opportunities optimisation
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen responsibility financial health each project

Collaboration
- Champion integration into culture operations
- Lead weekly scrums hub workflow resource pain points risks
- Facilitate high-level client communications presenting updates addressing concerns confidently
- Ensure deliver measurable value clients driving brand objectives
- Collaborate leadership identify pursue new business opportunities

Agency Efficiencies
- Develop introduce maintain frameworks tools technologies workflows streamline operations
- Lead resource planning optimal allocation talent capabilities across projects

Responsibilities & Key Skills
Proven experience as senior professional within creative advertising marketing agency. Exceptional expertise including scoping resource planning risk assessment delivery across large-scale complex projects.Strong leadership people management skills ability inspire mentor teams.Excellent organisational skills detail-oriented mindset ensure stay track time budget.Ability manage multiple priorities fast-paced deadline-driven environment.Outstanding communication stakeholder management skills present confidently senior clients internal teams.Advanced financial acumen including budget management forecasting profitability tracking improving operational efficiency.Proficiency tools methodologies.Adept solving complex problems making fast decisions align strategic goals.Strong collaborative mindset experience working across multiple departments disciplines.

Preferred Experience
