Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Marketing and Communications professional to support Culham Campus' estates, property management and built environment initiatives. The role sits at the intersection of two mid-sized, cross functional teams - the Communications and Estates teams - and will focus on developing strategic campaigns related to planning communications, urban master-planning and building redevelopment. The aim is to shape Culham Campus as a dynamic and thriving environment for a diverse community of innovators across key sectors including fusion energy, robotics, autonomous vehicles, aerospace and life sciences.
The Role:
The position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to take ownership of UKAEA's real estate marketing and communications strategy, shaping how Culham Campus is positioned as a premier location for research, development and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Head of External Communications and the Group Director of Estates
- Act as the lead communications advisor for the Estates division
- Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies that align with UKAEA's goals
- Ensure that the Estates division benefits from best-in-class communications approaches
- Create and execute a marketing and communications plan that best promotes Culham Campus to current and prospective tenants
- Collaborate with UKAEA's in-house communications team to coordinate messaging effectively target key audiences
- Foster exceptional relationships with internal & external stakeholders including senior leadership
- Provide strategic insight & potentially manage two marketing team members solely focusing on Culham Campus' marketing & communications
- Develop marketing & communications collateral including press releases opinion pieces website content case studies branded collateral & event material
- Assist with/or devise planning & management of events related to Estates initiatives
- Offer strategic communications counsel supporting Estates division objectives

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a degree relevant professional qualifications or at least 10 years' experience working in marketing & communications.
