Urgent requirement for an Azure Site Reliability Engineer for a leading client of mine, who have a project that requires a further engineer.
What you will be doing:
As an Azure Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and scalability of cloud-based applications hosted on our Azure cloud platform. You will manage the deployment pipeline using YAML for Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub to automate CI/CD processes, ensuring seamless application releases. As an SRE, you will also orchestrate containerised workloads through Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and efficient scaling of services. With a solid understanding of core networking concepts, you will configure and maintain networking infrastructure within Azure, optimising performance, security, and connectivity across distributed systems. Your work ensures the smooth operation of applications while minimizing downtime and enhancing performance.
We need you to have as essentials:
- Azure Cloud Engineering
- YAML Pipelines - Github ADO (Azure DevOps)
- Python
- Kubernetes
- Core Networking concepts
Roll non-negotiables:
- Must currently live within commutable distance of Leeds; candidates living currently outside of a 120 minute trip won't be considered unfortunately
- Be a UK Citizen; not currently sponsored by an external organisation
- Start ASAP; it's an urgent project with the essential requirements above needed
