Are you an experienced Clinical Pharmacist looking for a new locum opportunity? Hunter AHP are currently seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join an NHS hospital team in Liverpool. This is an ongoing contract with flexible working days, offering the chance to gain valuable experience in a supportive hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical pharmacy services to patients in a hospital setting
- Undertake medication reviews and support the multidisciplinary team with drug therapy decisions
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy protocols and policies
- Work closely with patients to optimise their medication therapy
- Dispense prescriptions and ensure the safe and accurate supply of medication
- Provide education and guidance on drug usage to hospital staff and patients
Requirements:
- GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
- Previous hospital experience is desirable, but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Available to work 3, 4, or 5 days per week
- NHS experience is preferred but not required
