Description
Our client is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a temporary basis. The role is based in Lincoln and involves working on several sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing and administering contracts, primarily under NEC and JCT forms
* Overseeing post-contract duties including CVR and reporting
* Handling contract administration and change control processes
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Communicating effectively with project teams and external parties
* Utilising strong Excel skills to manage project data and financials
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant project guidelines and standards
* Providing confident and competent quantity surveying expertise on-site
Job Requirements:
* Experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably within the water sector
* Strong understanding and practical experience with NEC and JCT contracts
* Proficiency in post-contract activities including CVR and reporting
* Excellent contract administration and change control skills
* Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively
* Advanced Excel skills for data management and financial reporting
* Confidence and competence in on-site surveying duties
* Flexibility to be site-based for a minimum of 3 days per week
