Location: Nottingham - Hybrid (3-5 days on site)
Contract Duration: 12 months

Overview:
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Retailer for an Assistant/Junior Brand Manager for a 12-month contract. The organisation is located in Nottingham and offers hybrid working, requiring onsite presence 3-5 days per week. This role is a backfill while one of the team members is on maternity leave. You will be working on one of the biggest skincare brands in the UK and will be a key part of their UK Marketing team.

Responsibilities:
- Brand, social, and content lead in the UK market
- Support in the development of local market annual plans and organic social plans, including campaign planning, retailer execution, always-on marketing, and brand support to deliver brand and customer targets
- Set the social strategy for the brand across a multi-platform approach - growing current platforms and launching new platforms that are right for our brand and customers
- Lead local production of content requirements for the UK market while seeking out new formats, trends, and production to enhance content delivery
- Localise global creative and content to allow for market-relevant creative messaging
- Identify local market insights to inform all plans; develop continuously learn
- Work with local media agencies to deliver new product launches, brand campaigns, and always-on strategy
- Support working within our matrix organisation to deliver fully aligned activation plans; build great relationships internally and externally
- Work with retail partners to integrate all campaigns and brand priorities seamlessly across the market
- Partner with PR to support integration of local influencer activity across assigned brand projects
- Collaborate with customer centre to ensure all feedback is heard, actioned, and responded to according to brand guidelines
- Conduct local measurement & evaluation of all activity across paid media, loyalty & organic social
- Budget Management
- Agency management

Requirements:
- Proven experience within retail & brand marketing
- Strong passion for social & content management including Lo-fi content production & working with content creators
- Experience in brand & product launches using full marketing mix including paid owned earned channels
- Experience in content production & scheduling across digital/social channels
- Commercial Acumen ensuring understanding of retail partners’ businesses
- Strong communication skills; ability to work in highly matrixed organization
- Excellent relationship management skills across network of brands/stakeholders (internal/external) & agency partners
- Tenacious & resilient
- Proven ability developing thorough understanding customer/consumer behaviour trends
- Strong interpersonal skills with confidence influencing senior stakeholders
