Senior Design Engineer
Description
Our client is looking for Senior Design Engineer on a contract basis.
As the Senior Design Engineer, you will have expertise in civil engineering design, particularly with a focus on using Site3D and PDS (Professional Design System) for Drainage and road projects.
This role will involve working on a variety of high-profile civil projects, delivering innovative and technically robust designs to meet client requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of civil engineering infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, earthworks, and site layouts, using Site3D and PDS software.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate design engineers.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs are integrated and meet project requirements.
- Review and produce detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports for civil engineering works.
- Conduct site assessments and surveys to ensure designs are aligned with on-site conditions and constraints.
- Ensure that designs comply with relevant local, national, and industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Oversee and coordinate project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely и cost-effective project delivery.
- Liaise with clients stakeholders contractors authorities address queries resolve technical issues Manage deliver proposals tenders new Keep up-to-date software practices advancements within field
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or related field A minimum years’ experience infrastructure Extensive using purposes Strong understanding principles regulations Proven ability manage lead from concept through construction Experience designing elements Proficient AutoCAD other required Excellent communication skills effectively teams Ability mentor support foster collaborative environment Strong problem-solving adapt changing preferred Chartered status working towards recognized professional body ICE IStructE
