General Purpose
The Director of Business Development will report directly to the Vice President of Business Development for US and Europe of RxLogix. Managing territory by selling directly into pharmaceutical companies and Contract Research Organizations (CROs). Build and work the entire sales pipeline from prospecting for new business to cold-calling to getting client meetings to closing business. Candidate should have a hunger for personal and company success and enjoy working on a high functioning competitive collaborative team. Our Sales team is responsible for introducing our suite of solutions to new customers and driving new business for the company in the US and Europe. Previous pharma experience and clinical trials experience is preferred. The Software Sales Manager will play an important highly visible role in liaising with key executives in the life sciences industry. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Penetrate profile qualify schedule well-qualified appointments with key decision makers within targeted US EU life science companies.
- Cold-call network email high volume prospects sales operations leaders utilize resources build maintain sales pipeline.
- Learn demonstrate solid understanding RxLogix technology clearly articulate capabilities advantages prospective customers successfully manage overcome prospect objections.
- Comprehensively introduce explain solutions via web meetings.
- Effectively position liaise prospects ranging from end-users Directors VP CX level.
- Achieve exceed monthly sales quotas.
- Work closely with US EU Sales Director marketing team members achieve organizational goals.
- Provide continual input sales marketing organizations refine positioning adapt new market opportunities.
- Generate new business sales leads mixture cold calling following up marketing campaigns inbound inquiries.
- Work existing clients grow accounts find referrals schedule meetings target accounts manage inbound leads make outbound calls targeted accounts understand programs offerings effectively communicate apply them each prospect need.

Minimum Requirements
- Located in UK/Ireland
- 5–10 years direct sales experience proven achievement sales targets track record successfully selling enterprise software solutions (preferably SaaS).
- Previous experience selling pharmaceutical CRO industry preferred.
- Previous experience selling Pharmacovigilance Drug Safety Software presenting online wide variety clients including senior level executives proven success closing sale.
- Ability stand front executive articulate business case travel up 30–40% time customer oriented background required (sales support customer service).
- Qualities cooperation adaptability flexibility changes occur department maintaining positive attitude solid understanding web enterprise SaaS technologies willingness roll sleeves do what takes get job done ability change priorities quickly capacity multi-task strong interest technology ability clearly explain even most complicated ideas nontechnical audience.
