Digital Skills is excited to partner with a leading global travel agency in their search for an exceptional Software Engineer to work on the Ranking Platform team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled Back End engineer with experience in high-scale, distributed systems and a strong understanding of AI/ML-driven ranking algorithms.
As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing ranking models, ensuring seamless integration into search and recommendation systems. You'll work with cutting-edge ML and cloud technologies to enhance user experience and system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement scalable, high-performance ranking algorithms and ML-driven solutions.
- Design and develop Back End services using Java, Scala, or Kotlin.
- Ensure service reliability and operational excellence, troubleshooting performance issues in a complex, high-traffic environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ranking innovations into search and recommendation pipelines.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code, ensuring high-quality engineering standards.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, with a strong focus on Back End engineering.
- Experience building and optimizing high-scale distributed systems handling millions of users.
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Kotlin for Back End development.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, MySQL, and Redis.
- Experience working with AI/ML-driven products is highly desirable.
- Background in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Ability to work in fast-paced high-performance environments delivering scalable reliable solutions.
