Community Operations Specialist - Italian speaker (fully remote) - 6 months contract with potential to go up to 12+ months - £250-£300 per day umbrella rate

Position Overview:
We are searching for a strategic community management and operations expert to join the International Community team and help grow outside of the US. As the Community Operations Specialist, you will be at the forefront of jumpstarting and fostering local communities. You will be an expert of the Italian market, proficient in English and Italian, focused on proactive initiatives to build bridges with local volunteer moderators and innovate, iterate, refine, and scale our international consumer playbook. The insights derived from your relationships and experiments will help accelerate our growth in Italy.

Responsibilities:
- Gain a deep understanding of the market and specialized knowledge to identify user and moderator pain points, competitors, and market opportunities.
- Cultivate, recruit, educate, and grow a local community of moderators (i.e., volunteers who are developing maintaining crafting culture)
- Implement a conversion funnel to onboard external creators & local users into active moderators.
- Be a public face with our local volunteer moderators to build trust & drive engagement in local communities; mediate conflicts & help drive solutions.
- Iterate innovate scale consumer growth playbook by recognizing new opportunities suggesting bold ideas programs persuading internal teams align on new plans.
- Communicate quantitative qualitative insights optimize improve international consumer growth playbook.
- Be obsessive about achieving aggressive goals outcomes.
- Run reports build dashboards analyze data set KPIs execute impactful community initiatives leverage data uncover community moderator insights influence direction market pod.
- Work cross-functionally with Product Community Engineering Marketing Safety BD teams.
What We Can Expect From You:
- 2–5 years experience in community development project management growth operations product consulting track record community-led projects driven business impact.
- Deep knowledge understanding Italian culture including current events politics customs traditions language topics interest taboos etc.
- Nuanced comprehension digital landscape cultural intricacies inherent within it including awareness internet culture specific Italy appreciation diverse cultural facets shaping contemporary Italian society.
- Succinct persuasive communicator collaborate effectively across internal teams local users moderators partners content creators influencers etc.
- Results obsessed outstanding execution high attention detail

Proficiency in Italian English based EU timezone.
