Job Title: Senior Business Analyst - Data Migration (Financial Services - Banking, Mortgages, savings) Location: Hybrid UK| Industry: Financial Services Are you an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in data migration within the Financial Services sector? Do you have in-depth experience with data mapping, transformation, and ensuring smooth migration from source to target systems? If so, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:Lead migration projects, ensuring successful delivery of data and assets from source systems to new target systems.Define Source Data Scope and accurately map this data to the target systems, aligning all business requirements.Manage the data transformation journey, ensuring data is mapped and migrated efficiently during the data mapping phase.Identify data integrity issues and collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies.Ensure seamless integration of migration requirements into the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process with technical teams.Maintain adherence to data/information security protocols throughout the migration process.Define and manage data reconciliation and validation requirements, ensuring migration accuracy and resolving reconciliation breaks during both financial and operational reconciliation phases.Required Experience:Minimum 8 years of Business Analyst experience, with at least 5 years in the Financial Services sector.Proven experience in data migration, with a focus on source to target data mapping, data cleansing, and data transformation.Strong understanding of the ETL process and its integration into migration activities.Detailed knowledge of data reconciliation and validation requirements.Experience working with business and technical stakeholders to resolve data integrity and migration issues.Experience in defining Migration Financial & Operational Reconciliation requirements.Skills and Qualifications:Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage stakeholder relationships.Proficiency with data analysis tools (SQL, Power BI, etc.).Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work on cutting-edge migration projects within a leading financial services organization.A dynamic and collaborative team environment.If you're ready to take the next step in your career and make a significant impact on large-scale data migration projects, apply now to join our team!
