A leading asset manager is looking to hire an Interim Legal Counsel with a background in financial services regulatory matters.
Role Overview
The ideal candidate is between 1 and 6 PQE with experience gained in private practice or in-house. Experience on the buy side is highly advantageous. In this role you will provide detailed technical advice on the legal and regulatory obligations arising from European (EU and UK) regulation, rules, and guidance in respect of sustainable finance and broader ESG areas. You will provide advice on the practical implementation and integration of these requirements into the client business.
Key Requirements
- England and Wales qualified Solicitor.
- Exposure to UK and European financial regulation and implementing new regulations (ideally within an asset management context).
- Experience in advising on asset management products.
- Experience with the implementation of sustainable finance and other ESG requirements into their areas of responsibility and coverage.
