Job Title: Project Manager - M&E | Data Centres | Client-Facing

Salary: £275 per day
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, specifically within data centre environments. This is a client-facing role, requiring a professional who can manage complex projects, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of mission-critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee end-to-end project delivery for M&E installations within data centres.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve successful outcomes.
* Work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations and company policies.
* Report on project progress, KPIs, and financial performance to senior management.



Required Experience & Skills:

* Proven experience as a Project Manager in M&E within data centre environments.
* Strong understanding of critical infrastructure, power, cooling, and security systems.
* Experience managing projects from inception to completion, including budget control and risk management.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of working in client-facing roles.
* Knowledge of relevant compliance and industry regulations.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Relevant project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) are desirable.
