Client Overview
Our client, a Tier 1 Contractor who turn over in excess of £3b and are part of one of the largest Construction Groups in the world, is seeking to secure the services of an experienced Procurement Manager to assist with recent Water Tenders that they are working on.
Project Details
The works are predominantly major Water Treatment Works Upgrades, focusing on the Civil Engineering and Construction aspects.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the overall tender processes
- Negotiating/finalising the terms and conditions of subcontracts and bespoke subcontracts
- Evaluating the reliability of tenderers to enhance cost accuracy
- Reporting forecasted value of Procurement to Project Control
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 5 years in a Procurement Manager position held with Main Contractors
- MUST have Water experience
Skills Required
You will also have solid interpersonal skills with Contractor and Client Liaison being a large part of this role.
Compensation & Contract Details
In return, an excellent day rate is on offer which is Outside IR35 and comes with a long-term ongoing contract.
