Job Overview

Our client, a well-known engineering specialist delivering multidisciplinary works across the country, is seeking an additional civil design engineer to support ongoing rail works. The position is initially on a contract basis outside IR35, with the possibility of leading to a permanent role if future work wins are secured.

Key Requirements

- Experience: An established civil design engineer with demonstrable experience.
- Industry Experience: Significant experience in a relevant industry.
- Rail Experience: Rail experience is strongly preferred.
- Career History: A consistent career history with no regular moves.
- Qualifications: A civil engineering degree or masters is preferred, but relevant experience can be accepted as an alternative.
- Eligibility: Fully eligible to work in the UK.
- Work Arrangement: Ability to work from a Yorkshire-based office 3 days per week and from home 2 days per week.
