Company Overview:
We are currently looking for an Automation Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the South East of England. This is an initial 12 month contract with possible extension. Competitive rates are on offer.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Your duties as the Automation Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Develop, implement, and review control systems to optimise manufacturing processes.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve projected issues with automated equipment to minimise future downtime.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
4. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all automation activities.
Role Requirements:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Automation Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related field such as Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Control Systems.
2. Proven industry experience in automation within a manufacturing environment.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI development (Ideally Siemens based).
