Role Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Clearance: MUST HOLD SC CLEARANCE
Location: 3-5 days work onsite depending on client activities through this time. They need to be Portsmouth based.
Duration: 12 months
Role Description:
Your skills and experience:
- Solid knowledge (5/7 yoe), of modern C++ software engineering, for Linux platforms and experience in working at RF/SDR solutions (modem or similar equipments)
- Intel and ARM processors architecture (nice to have: worked at migration from Intel to ARM)
- Knowledge of Eclipse CDT (on Linux)
- Knowledge of DO 178C software standard (worked at increasing compliance level of existing software)
- Basic knowledge of unit and integration test tools (e.g. Gitlab, Jenkins, Google Test, Robot Framework)
- Good knowledge of Atlassian toolset (e.g. Jira, Confluence, BitBucket)
- Able to work in Agile or Scrum working environment
