Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Audio QC Technician you will be responsible for QC assessment of high-profile content from major OTT clients. You will be trained in the operation of all relevant equipment such as Pro Tools and DaVinci Resolve; full QC training will enable you to carry out vital checks on all content before it leaves the building.
Main Duties
With Thorough Training You Will Become Proficient In:
- The quality control of feature and episodic audio content from high-profile OTT clients
- Quality checking internally generated assets
- Performing QC on archive assets
- Creation of QC reports and other associated paperwork
Skills And Attributes
As this is an entry-level position relevant experience within a QC environment would be beneficial but is not essential since comprehensive training and full support will be provided. What is essential is:
- A great ear & eye for detail
- A strong desire to learn
- A positive attitude towards hard work
- The motivation to grow into a key member of the department
It's also critical that you have:
- A flexible & proactive approach to meeting tight deadlines
Beneficial Experience May Include:
- Knowledge of audio formats & standards
- Knowledge of audio loudness measurement
- Experience with timeline-based tools such as Pro Tools & DaVinci Resolve
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations & sensitive information
- The flexibility to work in a fast-paced & demanding environment
- Strong IT literacy
