We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GCP Cloud Engineer to join the NHS on a hybrid working basis in London. This role offers a competitive daily rate of £525 (outside IR35) and provides an exciting opportunity to lead the design, implementation, and operationalization of a GCP Landing Zone. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the secure, scalable, and efficient delivery of cloud infrastructure, aligning with the NHS’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Oversee the end-to-end design and implementation of the GCP Landing Zone, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), secure VPC architectures, and multi-project governance frameworks.
- DevOps and Automation: Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Security and Compliance: Enforce security best practices, including encryption, access controls, and VPC Service Controls. Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS. Conduct regular security audits and implement guardrails.
- Delivery and Operations: Lead the migration of data and applications into GCP, ensuring performance and availability. Define operational processes for monitoring logging incident response Collaborate cross-functional teams ensure operational readiness
