ServiceNow Developer

Responsibilities
- Bring technical expertise developing new features, configuring processes, and implementing new modules in ServiceNow.
- Build technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform based on project needs and process requirements.
- Maintain a good understanding of the overall architecture of ServiceNow.
- Translate business requirements into functional design.
- Propose API-based solutions focused on usability and automation.
- Expertly work on Service Portal and custom applications.
- Provide technical insights on the capabilities and best practices of the ServiceNow platform.
- Understand "as is processes" and deliver toolset changes based on upcoming process changes.
- Engage in end-to-end development activities for specific enhancements or projects as an individual contributor.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Architects, Platform & Testing teams, and process teams.
- Align to product roadmap to ensure strategic alignment.
- Identify areas of process and tooling improvement and provide necessary solutions.

Experience Required
- Experience in Angular JS, HTML, CSS3, Bootstrap is essential.
- Experience with ServiceNow web services and APIs; expertise in JavaScript; working knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, Workflow Configuration.
- Knowledge of web applications, networks, protocols (SMTP POP3), working knowledge relational databases.
- Client-side server-side scripting experience.
- Experience with Service Now Portal Integration Hub.
- Experience developing complex widgets/pages; client-side/server-side scripting experience.
-Experience developing complex workflows using Flow designers.
-Experience developing reusable APIs; writing reusable scripts.
-Good experience developing custom scoped applications; complex reporting skills.
-Good experience dealing with version upgrades.

Additional Information
The role is for a 2–3 month piece of work to work on a Government client project. The role will be remote.
