Role Title: Architecture Delivery Lead
Possibility of remote work: Hybrid Model
Contract duration: 12 months
Location: Leeds
REQUIRED CORE SKILLS
Skills Required: Highly skilled and qualified Architect with senior leadership experience to manage a team of Solution Architects. Professional experience in managing Architecture delivery at strategic and complex programme level, ability to track and report within change framework. Expert knowledge and understanding of Financial Services, Payments, and Transaction systems architecture; ACI and Oracle are key. Great stakeholder management skills, advising senior leaders/decision makers through to daily communications with colleagues delivering design outputs.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Be the lead role across Architecture and Design for our strategic programme – Payments Transformation (Faster Payments inbound/outbound and Reconciliation) and Transaction Monitoring.
- Lead a team of Solution Architects (various domains) and work alongside wider technical leader to deliver the end-to-end design and implementation of the programme target architecture.
- Provide skills and knowledge across all domains to support understanding from business process through to technology domains (incl. software, data, integration, and infrastructure).
- Provide leadership and positive support to colleagues across all workstreams, ensuring they can work in an open and honest environment within an accelerated, complex (stressful at times) environment.
- Develop better relationships and confidence in the Architecture services provided to the programme and stakeholders within.
- Responsible for continuous reporting and management of architecture activities, managing fully resourced plans to agreed milestones with project leads, dealing with escalationsand issue resolution.
- Report directly into the Architecture Delivery Senior Manager; representation at delivery reviewand steering groups as required.
- Ensure production of high-quality architectureand design artefacts with appropriate governanceand traceability across end-to-end architectureand design (held centrally within iServer (Orbus)).
- Support a clear transitionto supportthe downstream successof IT engineeringand delivery teamsfor buildand implementation.
