What You Will Be Doing
ChargePoint is seeking an experienced Director of Channel Sales with a proven track record of winning and managing a growing channel ecosystem. This full-time position requires close collaboration with ChargePoint leadership and cross-functional teams to drive channel revenue in Europe. The Channel Sales Director will scale our go-to-market channels and strategic partnerships. The candidate will enhance our channel program; hire & motivate top-tier talent; drive consistency in program development; build strong executive relationships with partners; ensure partner programs are successful & scalable.

- Align with cross-functional leaders to ensure support is in place for partners' success (product support finance marketing etc.)
- Work closely with sales leaders to train & enable sales teams on working successfully with channel partners
- Develop the channel strategy & program across Europe as a whole
- Provide ongoing reporting & transparency on partner performance/KPI metrics
- Create growth-oriented sales plans with partner managers & regional sales leaders
- Manage & develop executive-level relationships with customers/partners
- Prepare/present formal presentations for internal/external audiences
- Work alongside legal teams from both sides to structure/execute partnership agreements
- Provide insights/guidance for creating world-class partner experiences
- Manage key logistical elements within the channel ecosystem including pipeline tracking quoting supply management forecasting contractual negotiations
- Ability to travel as much as 50%

What You Will Bring
Understanding of channels in EV charging or adjacent sectors electrical distribution construction environments including political social legislative trends shaping buyer behavior

Ability to communicate effectively with distributors resellers other key contacts articulating ChargePoint's value proposition

Impactful presentation skills

Empowering leadership mentorship style

Software/SaaS experience highly regarded

Ability simplifying complex issues creating actionable progress

Experience using Salesforce Partner Relationship Management (PRM) Microsoft Suite Tableau

Requirements
10+ years' experience in Channel Sales Management

Proven track record developing negotiating strategic partnerships alliances

Experience influencing senior stakeholders across organizational lines borders

Deep understanding Partner Relationship Management (PRM) tools enablement resources

History leading/managing enterprise channel sales programs

High degree financial acumen understanding

Autonomous team-player self-motivated influential

Experience building leading diverse high-performing teams

University degree or equivalent work experience
