Role Overview:
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology-driven projects that enhance the company's risk management capabilities. The role will require strong project governance, stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of IT systems within financial services and commodities trading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Lead IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with industry standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and proactively manage potential roadblocks.
- Agile & Waterfall Methodologies: Utilize appropriate project management methodologies to drive efficiency and agility in project delivery.
- Budget & Resource Management: Ensure projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and budget constraints.
- Technology Implementation: Oversee system upgrades, integrations, and new technology rollouts to support commodities trading and risk management functions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure IT projects adhere to financial regulations and data protection requirements.
- Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular status updates dashboards reports senior leadership.
Required Skills Experience:
Proven IT Project Management Experience in the commodities financial services or trading sectors Strong understanding price risk management commodities trading platforms Experience delivering projects involving trading systems data analytics enterprise infrastructure Proficiency tools (eg JIRA MS Trello) Strong knowledge cloud computing AWS Azure security best practices Ability manage multiple translate complex technical concepts into business language problem solving decision making skills results driven mindset Relevant certifications such PMP PRINCE Agile Scrum Master SAFe
