Automation Engineer

Role Overview:
As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will work in multi-discipline engineering teams on mainly oil & gas industry green field offshore projects. Your expertise will span from conceptual studies, FEED, and detailed design to complete installations.
Responsibilities / Experience:
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking the design and engineering deliverables required for the project, with knowledge of ICSS including DCS, ESD, and FGS with instrumentation communication protocols.
- Developing preliminary and final stage I&C design deliverables, including contributing to P&IDs Instrument List and Control system specifications.
- Applying, specifying, and requisitioning DCS, PLC, and SIS systems with experience in the system's full life cycles.
- Reviewing System vendor documentation for compliance with project and process specifications.
- Developing automation-related deliverables including I/O lists and interface requirements with other third-party systems.
- Assisting process engineering development of process control narrative, Cause and Effects etc.
- Developing philosophies block drawings and datasheets for all systems.
- Supporting and reviewing the design work and studies in the development of drawings layouts Cable Schedules Interconnection & Termination diagrams as well as scope of works.
- Contributing to HAZOP SIL design reviews conducting FAT for Control systems.
Additional Requirements:
Awareness of NORSOK standards and subsea systems essential.
