Description

My client is currently seeking an experienced Freelance Senior/Principal Structural Engineer with a strong background in water treatment and sewage treatment works. If you have a proven track record in designing water-retaining structures and are proficient with StaadPro, Tekla TEDDS, and structural design for water infrastructure, they'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide structural design expertise for water and sewage treatment facilities, including designing water-retaining structures such as tanks, reservoirs, and pumping stations.
- Undertake detailed structural analysis and design using StaadPro, Tekla TEDDS, and other relevant software, ensuring all designs are compliant with regulations and project specifications.
- Produce and review technical reports, calculations, and drawings for water treatment and sewage treatment works projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers and project managers, to deliver successful outcomes.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Offer advice and guidance to junior engineers, contractors, and clients as required.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Extensive freelance experience in structural design for water and sewage treatment works.
- Proficiency in StaadPro and Tekla TEDDS for structural analysis and design.
