IT Project Manager (Social Care System) Contract Details
- Duration: Initial 6-month contract (likelihood of extending)
- Position: Part-time, 3 days per week
- Work Environment: Remote
Client Overview
Our client is implementing a new social care system and is seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in social care systems, ideally Mosaic.
Role Requirements
- Substantial experience leading and managing projects on time and within budget using sound project management methodology and tools in a complex environment.
- Experience working in or with Social Care or similar environments such as NHS, local councils, etc.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of project execution including relationship management, planning, resource allocation, risk management, and timely delivery while maintaining alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
Key Tasks & Deliverables
1. Develop and manage detailed project plans including timelines and resource allocation; track project performance to ensure goals and deadlines are met.
2. Ensure adherence to project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders; manage any requested changes to project scope and schedule.
3. Establish and maintain positive relationships with all key stakeholders both internal and external.
4. Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, development teams, and other departments; provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
5. Organise and lead project-related meetings and presentations.
6. Lead cross-functional teams in executing project deliverables; ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
7. Coordinate with internal and external partners for the successful completion of tasks.
8. Continuously assess project risks; adjust plans as necessary.
9. Manage the project risk log by identifying potential risks; develop mitigation strategies; troubleshoot issues; implement corrective actions to resolve roadblocks.
